Deal of the Year 2004
Compass Wind’s Chris McCall was honored by Project Finance magazine for the Three Wind Holdings transaction which received "North American Renewables Deal of the Year 2004”. The deal, sponsored by Shell WindEnergy and Goldman Sachs, represented the first wind farm portfolio to raise debt in the U.S. bank market, and the second major wind financing award for Mr. McCall in 3 years. The team arranged $123 million in bank debt.

Deal of the Year 2002
For the largest wind financing done in the U.S. to that point, Mr. McCall was honored by Project Finance magazine for the Desert Sky transaction which received "North American Renewables Deal of the Year 2002”. The team arranged and underwrote the entire financing of $121 million in debt, with sponsor American Electric Power providing $59 million in equity.
